(TITC) - On 4th October, at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel, the Ha Noi Ao Dai Tourism Festival 2024 took place. This year’s event is part of activities to celebrate the capital’s 70th Liberation Day (10th October 1954 - 10th October 2024).

The annual event aims to honour and preserve the unique cultural beauty of the traditional ao dai of the Vietnamese people; adding ao dai to one of many attractive souvenirs for international visitors to carry home. Ao dai is also a creative inspiration for designers, contributing to promoting Ha Noi tourism as a "Safe - Friendly - Quality - Attractive Destination" to domestic tourists and international friends every Autumn in Ha Noi.

With the theme “Ha Noi - The Quintessence of Ao Dai”, the Festival revives part of the image of the Ha Noi capital's 70 years of history. Several scenes, dances, and fashion shows recreate Ha Noi - the heroic, resilient, and brave capital in combat, constantly innovating, developing, and integrating.
The Ha Noi Ao Dai Tourism Festival 2024 includes many special activities with the highlight being the Ao Dai Carnival organised by the Hanoi Women's Union. Along with that was the art performance show “Ao Dai Festival Night”; Finalist of Ao Dai design contest; exhibitions, and displays of top ao dai brands; tourism products, services, traditional Ao Dai craft villages…
