(TITC) - On 3rd September, in Manila Capital, Philippines, the 31st World Travel Awards Asia & Oceania Gala Ceremony 2024 took place. At the award dubbed the “Oscar of World Tourism” this year, once again Vietnam tourism was titled “Asia’s Leading Destination”, along with many titles for destinations and service businesses.

At the ceremony, the Organising Board announced winners of travel brands across Asia and Oceania. At the national level, Vietnam is proud to receive 03 awards, including “Asia’s Leading Destination 2024”, “Asia's Leading Heritage Destination 2024” and “Asia's Leading Nature Destination 2024”. Noticeably, this is the 6th time in the last 7 years Vietnam is titled “Asia’s Leading Destination” (2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024), affirming the position of Vietnam tourism as an attractive destination, a bright star on the tourism map of Asia and the world.
At the local level, Ha Noi is honoured to receive titles “Asia's Leading City Break Destination 2024” and “Asia's Leading City Destination 2024”. Ho Chi Minh City won “Asia's Leading Business Travel Destination 2024” and “Asia's Leading Festival & Event Destination 2024”. Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism was crowned “Asia's Leading City Tourist Board 2024” for the 2nd time. Quang Nam Tourism won Asia's Leading Regional Tourist Board 2024.
Hoi An for the 5th time won the title “Asia's Leading Cultural City Destination 2024”. Moc Chau won “Asia's Leading Regional Nature Destination 2024” for the 3rd time in a row. Ha Giang won “Asia's Leading Regional Cultural Destination 2024”. Ha Nam Province achieved the title “Asia's Leading Emerging Tourism Destination 2024”.
Along with that, many famous Vietnamese brands in the fields of hotels, resorts, airlines, travel businesses... were also honored in many categories of Asia's Leading awards 2024.
