(TITC) - Bac Giang Province informed, the number of international visitors coming to experience the ripe lychee season in Luc Ngan District (Bac Giang Province) this year increased sharply.
Accordingly, since the beginning of the lychee season until now, the whole district has welcomed more than 40 international groups from countries: China, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, France, Australia, America... and overseas Vietnamese returning to visit relatives and travel to the lychee region with a total of more than 600 people. The number of groups and international visitors doubled compared to the same period last year.

Every year, visitors to the Luc Ngan lychee area mainly come from China. This year, in addition to international tourists coming to Luc Ngan on tours organised by travel businesses, there are also delegations of foreign experts such as: Japan, Taiwan (China), Korea,... who are working in industrial parks of Bac Giang and many localities such as Bac Ninh, Ha Noi…
It is expected that this year's lychee season, Luc Ngan, will welcome about 250 thousand visitor arrivals to experience and consume lychees. Among them are about 5.5 thousand international visitor arrivals, an increase of 30% compared to the 2023 lychee crop.

Besides the effort in improving the quality of lychees, Luc Ngan local authorities have strengthened the promotion activities, promoting tourism, culture and people of Luc Ngan on mass media.
The district also cooperates with several press agencies and televisions to launch many contents about preserving traditional culture associated with local community tourism development.
Gardeners and tourism cooperatives in the area have proactively invested in renovating and beautifying the landscape, decorating attractive gardens, and well preparing the necessary conditions to welcome tourists.

The district's transportation system has also been upgraded to be more open, helping vehicles circulate conveniently. Many tourism cooperatives of Luc Ngan operate tour packages to serve domestic and international visitors.
