Speaking at the event, VNAT’s Vice Chairman Ha Van Sieu said, in 2024, Vietnam aims to welcome 18 million international visitor arrivals, serve 110 million domestic visitor trips, and strive for total tourist receipts to reach VND 850,000 billion, completely restored as before the COVID-19 pandemic, with the motto "Excellent products - Professional services - Convenient and simple procedures - Competitive prices - Clean and beautiful hygienic environment - Safe, civilised, friendly destination".

VNAT highly appreciates Da Nang City's initiative to organise a programme to stimulate demand and attract tourists to Da Nang in 2024. This is a very timely important event and programme of Da Nang City to promote domestic tourism, increase more experiences for tourists.

VNAT’s Vice Chairman Ha Van Sieu believes that, with the participation of local authorities and the business community, this tourism stimulus programme will create good effects, bring memorable experiences to tourists by creating attractive new tourism products, building a civilised tourism environment, and especially link up and join hands together to offer reasonable price policies, build attractive tours/routes/combos, exclusively for domestic visitors.

Vice Chairman of Da Nang City People's Committee, Mr. Tran Chi Cuong said: In 2023, Da Nang tourism industry records quite impressive results. In the first quarter of 2024, tourism industry has achieved positive numbers with the number of overnight visitors estimated at more than 1.88 million, an increase of 23.4% over the same period in 2023. Of which, international visitors are estimated to reach nearly 636 thousand arrivals, an increase of 21.6% over the same period in 2023; domestic visitors are estimated to reach nearly 1.25 million trips, an increase of 24.3% over the same period in 2023. Accommodation and  travel revenue is estimated to reach more than VND 3.7 trillion, an increase of 46.2% over the same period in 2023. On average, there are more than 100 domestic and international flights to Da Nang every day.

With the desire to increase the experience for tourists coming to Da Nang, Enjoy Danang 2024 programme offers more than 10,000 free vouchers and discounts, total value equivalent to 5 VND billion for tourists; in particular, the city gives priority to giving 2,000 free tickets to see the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival to tourists when registering to buy Da Nang tourism services/products on online platforms (Kkday and Traveloka), on the Programme's website (enjoydanang.vn), social networking sites of Da Nang tourism, participate in minigames/lucky spins at Da Nang tourism information counter (Domestic arrival terminal, international arrival terminal, Da Nang City Tourist Support Center) and gifts for the first 100 couples choosing Da Nang to hold their wedding/wedding anniversary/moonlight vacation honey.
