Vinpearl DIC Legends Vietnam 2023 held at Vinpearl Golf Nha Trang from 27th November to 2nd December is aligned with the European Legends Tour system. Vinpearl DIC Legends Vietnam 2023 marks Vietnam as the first country in Southeast Asia to participate in a series of prestigious and large-scale tournaments of the European Legends Tour.

The tournament is a collaborative effort with Viet Challenge Joint Stock Company. It features distinctive competition formats, fostering opportunities for emerging talents and amateur golfers to engage, enrich their competitive prowess, and cultivate experience and confidence for participation in high-level tournaments in the future. The Pro-Am - Vinpearl DIC Legends Vietnam 2023 tournament includes the "Championship Pro-Am" and "Invitational Pro-Am" events scheduled from November 28th to 29th. These tournaments include the participation of 24 golf legends and 72 Vietnamese amateur athletes. The golfers will be organised into 24 teams, with each team consisting of one legend and three amateur golfers. They will engage in a Scramble format, competing as a team of four individuals without the application of Handicap over 18 holes. In the course of each round, every team member must play at least three tee shots. The victorious team will be determined by having the lowest actual (gross) score at the conclusion of the tournament.

​On 27th November 2023, in preparation for the Vinpearl DIC Legends Vietnam 2023 tournament, a press conference was held at Nha Trang Convention Center - Vinpearl Nha Trang, the Organising Board announced a prize pool reaching VND 31 billion, including a cash prize value of 730,000 USD, equivalent to 18 billion VND. The top 3 winners of the tournament will receive prizes of up to 200,000 USD (equivalent to nearly 5 billion VND). In addition to the prestigious cash prizes, the tournament champion will also be awarded the coveted championship cup. Furthermore, there are 14 Hole In One (HIO) prizes: 06 prizes include VinFast VF 9 cars, and 08 prizes consist of other valuable awards, with a total value exceeding 13 billion VND.

The eventual victor is awarded a trophy designed to resemble a traditional Vietnamese bronze drum, along with a prize package valued at up to $93,500 (equivalent to over VND 2.2 billion).

Besides, 60 legendary names of the golf world compete with top swings. In particular, the top 10 most anticipated golfers include: Michael Campbell - Tournament Ambassador, Euan McIntosh, Emanuele Canonica, John Price, James Kingston, Adilson Da Silva, Stephen Dodd, Joakim Haeggman, Peter Baker, Markus Brier are poised to deliver a unique golfing experience at Vinpearl Golf Nha Trang.

Closing after three days of official competition, the championship belonged to Brazilian golfer Adilson da Silva. In the Best Amateur award, golfer Le Chuc An won with 109 points, while the runner-up was Nguyen Viet Gia Han with 102 points. Le Chuc An also won the Team Alliance award, along with Emanuele Canonica and Simon Khan.
