(TITC) - From 17th November to 19th November 2023, in Ha Long City of Quang Ninh Province, Hokkaido Festival will take place with various attractive events and activities, welcoming a large number of participations who are officials, businesses, people of the two countries, and visitors. The event is organised according to the cooperation programme between Hokkaido Prefecture (Japan) and Quang Ninh Province (Vietnam).

The festival has the theme "Quang Ninh - Hokkaido: Rich cultural integration". The locations for the main activities are 30/10 Square and Quang Ninh Exhibition of Planning and Expo Center, Hong Hai Ward, Ha Long City.
The main activities in the Festival include: Negotiations to sign a memorandum of understanding between Quang Ninh Province (Vietnam) and Hokkaido Prefecture (Japan); conference on Quang Ninh - Japan investment promotion in 2023; Exhibition and display combining trade and culinary space between Vietnam and Japan; Street art exchange programme; Seminar on green growth agriculture; Seminar on culture and tourism exchange, and human resource development.
In addition, there will be tours and discovery programmes in Quang Ninh for Japanese businesses…
The Japanese delegation is expected to be 330 people, including representatives of the Japanese Embassy in Vietnam; representatives of the Hokkaido Prefectural government and parliament; representatives of the municipal government and parliament of Hokkaido Prefecture; representatives of Japanese organisations in relations with Vietnam; representatives of Japanese businesses investing and having representative offices in Quang Ninh and Vietnam; Japanese artisans, artists, and singers participating in performances at the Festival and Japanese people living and working in Vietnam and Quang Ninh Province.
Among them, about 280 delegates from Hokkaido Prefecture and delegation members participating in the Festival will fly to Van Don Airport on a charter flight.
Main event - Ha Long Hokkaido Festival 2023 will officially open on 17th November 2023, at 30/10 Square, with the participation of around 4,000 - 5,000 people.
