(TITC) - On 15th August 2023, Vietnam Airlines and Nam Dinh Provincial People’s Committee officially signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement for the period of 2023 - 2027. This is an activity to strengthen the promotion of the destination, improve the efficiency of investment and tourism promotion activities, promote the socio-economic development of Nam Dinh, and at the same time promote the brand, products and services of Vietnam Airlines in Nam Dinh Province.

Thereby, Nam Dinh Province will promote the brand image, products and services of Vietnam Airlines to people, tourists and agencies in the province to attract guests, enhance and encourage the use of airline services operated by Vietnam Airlines.
On the Vietnam Airlines side, the airline will promote information and images of destinations, tourism events, diplomatic activities, culture, promotion of investment and trade of Nam Dinh Province on its vehicles and products. At the same time, the airline will coordinate to organise caravans, domestic and international presstrips to inspect, exchange, cooperate, participate in events held in Nam Dinh Province, as well as support the provincial delegations to promote and call for investment in the international markets.
Besides, Vietnam Airlines and alliance airlines of Vietnam Airlines Group (Pacific Airlines, Vasco) will create favourable conditions for units of Nam Dinh Province to use its products and services at preferential prices.
With the advantage of being located in the influence of the growth triangle of Ha Noi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh and the Gulf of Tonkin economic belt, Nam Dinh's geographical position is highly convenient to connect with the capital Ha Noi, the economic centre and neighbouring provinces. In addition, this is also a land bearing the characteristics of the Red River wet rice civilization, suitable for various types of countryside tourism, cultural, spiritual and ecological tourism. In particular, this locality also has many special festivals such as Tran temple festival, Vieng market festival, Phu Day festival, Co Le pagoda festival, etc. It is a unique tourism resource that creates an attraction for visitors. Therefore, Nam Dinh is a potential market for Vietnam Airlines to attract tourists and invest through the gateway airports of the North such as Noi Bai, Cat Bi or Van Don.
The cooperation agreement between the two sides will open up good opportunities to promote Nam Dinh's tourism and commercial investment destination, creating resilience for the locality to meet the requirements of integration and development.
