Beer Festival "Vung Tau BeerFest" themed "Around The World with Beer Saigon". The Festival will be held from 8 a.m on 2nd September (Vietnamese Independence Day) to 5 p.m on 3rd September at Back Beach area (Bai Sau), Thuy Van Street, Thang Tam Ward, Vung Tau City. The Festival is exclusively sponsored by Saigon Beer-Alcohol-Beverage Corporation (SABECO).

Representative of the Organising Board informed at the press conference that "Vung Tau BeerFest" is a new event, which is organised for the first time on a large scale with many activities including: culinary discovery, beer culture and music performance.

Visitors to Beer Festival will experience beer style and international cuisine from 6 different countries including: Izakaya of Japan, Myeongdong - Korea, Khaosan - Thailand, American garden BBQ party, giant Oktoberfest hut - Germany, Bui Vien - Ta Hien streets of Vietnam.

Remarkably, Bui Vien - Ta Hien Streets will be recreated on the beach. Music and entertainment programmes will take fest goers on an impressive journey around the world through performances of music, dances and a variety of exciting entertainment.

In particular, the highlight is the EDM music night from 8 pm on 2nd September to 6 am on 3rd September with the participation of famous young singers and DJs at home and abroad such as Soda, Wukong, Hieuthuhai, Mie, Kay Tran… The Organising Board is expected to welcome 150,000 visitor arrivals coming to the Beer Fest.

Beer Fest is a free entrance event, visitors will feel free to enjoy a variety of Saigon beer flavours.

According to Ms. Huong, the city hopes this Beer Fest will be the premise to become an annual event, contributing to making Vung Tau the destination of world-class festivals and events.
