Vietnam was honored as World's Best Golf Destination in 2019 and 2021 by the World Golf Awards. Vietnam also chosen as Asia’s Best Golf Destination five consecutive years since 2017.
Sharing at the event, Mr. Le Truong Hien Hoa - Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism acknowledged Ho Chi Minh City is one of the bustling economic and cultural centers of Vietnam with a modern and world-class golf course system, attracting golfers.

The development of golf tourism contributes to diversify tourism products, improving tourism competitiveness, attracting visitors with high spending ability, long stay, stimulating the high-end leisure tourism segment. Many countries identify golf tourism as the "golden egg" of the green economy.
On this occasion, the Department of Tourism of Ho Chi Minh City, VTGA, tourism businesses (Vietravel, Saco Travel, Vina Travel), Tan Son Nhat golf course... have signed a cooperation agreement to develop golf tourism in Ho Chi Minh City.
